The Strawberry Festival Run starts with a 10k and a 5k Historic Downtown Vista, runs through Vista’s Kite Sculptures, and ends at the Vista Strawberry Festival. All runners receive a performance t-shirt, a custom medal, a goodie bag, fresh fruit at the finish line and, for those runners 21 and over, a free beer in our beer garden! We have CASH prizes for our 3 fastest male and female runners for the 10k and 5k (1st – $500; 2nd – $250; 3rd – $100).
For kids 12 and younger, there is a 1-mile run. For kids 5 and younger, there is a 1/4 mile dash. Fun for the whole family. All courses are stroller friendly, however, dogs are prohibited in the run. Interested in Volunteering?The Vista Strawberry Festival Run is seeking 200 energetic, hardworking volunteers to assist with the Expo and Race Day events. There is a job for everyone, including individuals, teams, school groups, corporate groups, friends and family. The Strawberry Festival Run is not possible without the help of all our amazing volunteers, so come out and join the fun.
No experience is required.All volunteers receive a “Strawberry Fest T”. Volunteer registration is now open. Fill out this form to get registered in our volunteer contact database. If you are part of group/club, we will have an orientation about 10 days before the event and we will need one coordinator from your group/club to attend.
